The School Academic Year:

The school academic year commences on 29th March and runs till 24th April, followed by vacations until 2nd week June.

The first term holidays are around Dassera Celebrations and second term concludes with Sankranthi holidays.

There is a brief break of 7 to 10 days before the new academic year (March 29th) starts.

The school functions five days a week from Monday to Friday.

Dress Code / Uniform:

The school believes in uniqueness of every child and hence there is no school uniform for general days for all the students (KG to class 12).

However, as a part of Physical Education, the students need to wear specified Uniform during PE days and Sports Day.

    • Boys should not wear pants with too many pockets.
    • Girls should not wear trinkets and heavy jewellery.
    • Slippers and highheels are not allowed.
    • Physical Educaiton Uniform (to be worn on Games and Mass Drill Days only)

Liberty (I to IV):

    • Green Shorts and Green T-shirt with white shoes and white socks for boys and girls.

Harmony (V to VII):

    • Boys: Pink Shorts and White T-shirt with white Canvas shoes and white socks.
    • Girls: Pink Divided Skirt and White T-Shirt with white Canvas shoes and white socks. Girls should plate their hair with white Ribbon.

Truth (VIII to X):

    • Boys: Royal Blue Pants and white T-shirt with white Canvas shoes and white socks.
    • Girls: Royal Blue Divided Skirt and White T-Shirt with white Canvas shoes and white socks. Girls should plate their hair with white Ribbon.

Uniform for Special Days (Classes VII – X)

    • Boys & Girls: White Pant with White Shirt with white Canvas shoes and white socks to be worn on Special Days.

The Four Houses Of Our School

The four houses of our school correspond to the four aspects of the Mother, namely
Maheshwari– Wisdom
Mahakali– Power
Mahalakshmi– Harmony
Mahasaraswati– Perfection

Students from Class VII are divided into respective groups and the school organizes inter house competitions under various activities.

Rules

Leave Rules:

  • Absence must be explained on the page of the diary meant for the purpose, attested with the parent’s signature. Do not encourage the child to miss the school to attend Petty Functions.
  • If the child is ill for more than three days a medical certificate ought to be sent to the Principal/HM.
  • If a student is absent for a continuous period of fifteen days without prior permission of the Headmistress/Principal, his/her name will be struck off.
  • The attendance will be taken at the beginning of the day.
  • No child is permitted to leave the school premises during the recess or otherwise, he/she will be granted permission in case of an emergency only when a permission letter duly signed by the parent is produced.
  • Attendance is compulsory. If the attendance is below 75% of the working days, the child will not be promoted.
